Malay Medicine
There are several of the Pandanaceae family that grow in tropic regions. The most famous are the pandanus odoratissimus (a tree with spiral blade leaves, with aerial roots and a white male flower that is also known for it’s voluptuous flavor) and the pandanus odorus (known as daun pandan).
The plant is normally used by Malay as an ingredient for cookies. It also believes that the plant can cure a chicken pox. The plant need to be grind before add some water. Then apply to the body of the patient.
