Malay Medicine
It is called “pokok Inai”. Lawsonia Inermis is a member of Lythracea. It is among the most fragrant flowers in this world. The plant contains two important chemical known as nafkokulnon and Lawson. It used for coloring purpose, where the women used to color their nail, men to color their beards and hair.
It paste after grinding can be used for healing of scabes or sores. The water after boiling together with it leaves could be used for sore throat. However, the other part of the world likes African countries the plant can be used for treatment of jaundice, hysteria and nervous disorder.
